What effects will be visible post treatment?

Microdermabrasion is a very safe and non-invasive procedure to have as it mainly targets the epidermis, the outer layer of the skin.

It is normal to have a little shedding or some flaking post your treatment, as the skin has been finely polished and new skin cell generation is getting rid of old dry skin.

What can I expect from my first treatment?

Post your treatment your skin may feel warm and definitely straight after your treatment your skin will feel smooth and warm to touch as the circulation has been increased. Skin will also appear flushed and slightly pink. You will notice an immediately visible result straight after your treatment, an improvement in the texture of the skin, reduced blackheads and more even skin tone with a radiant glow.

Is it safe to have before an event?

Micro is completely fine to have days leading up to an event as it will give the skin a beautiful exfoliation and skin will be glowing!

We wouldn’t recommend having Micro done on the day of an event. If you haven’t ever had it done before, as a precaution book in your treatment a week before your event.

Maintenance

Whilst great results can be achieved in one treatment for optimal and ongoing skin health, it is recommended regular 4-6 weeks to have the treatment done depending on skin type and concerns. Maximal results will be achieved if an on-going set of treatments is practised.
